Larry Ash

Larry Ash is co-chair of Ober|Kaler's Tax Group and a member of the Business Group. He handles all aspects of federal and state taxation, including income taxation of individuals, partnerships, corporations and nonprofit organizations; tax aspects of international transactions and operations; estate and gift taxation; state and local taxation; and tax controversies. Seth Kossman

Seth Kossman, is a member of the Tax and Business Groups at Ober|Kaler. A certified public accountant and former tax accountant, Seth was recently named a 2013 Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star. Seth is well-versed in the preparation of federal, state and international tax returns, having worked in public accounting at Deloitte and in-house at Black and Decker. He represents a diverse group of the firm’s clients on tax planning, tax controversy, tax compliance and transactional matters. His clients include corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and individuals. Seth's practice involves many aspects of tax-related issues, including income taxes, employment taxes, sales and use taxes, excise taxes, Trust Fund Recovery Penalties, wage and bank levies, tax liens, penalty abatements, offers-in-compromise and installment agreements. Timothy R. Wagner is an associate in Ober|Kaler's Tax and Business Groups. He represents corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and individuals in foreign tax compliance and off-shore voluntary disclosure matters, IRS audits, excise tax issues, tax fraud cases, business organizations and corporate structures, and federal and state tax collection matters. As a certified public accountant and former tax consultant, Tim is experienced in handling tax controversy matters involving the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Justice. He handles IRS audit and collection cases and provides counsel in criminal tax cases involving various white collar criminal matters. full bio

Esther Froehlich

Esther Froehlich is a paralegal in Ober Kaler’s Tax Group. Esther has over ten years experience in tax related matters, including partnerships and individuals, local, state and federal taxation, and specifically in income tax, employment tax and excise tax. An instrumental part of the team, she helps provide the background support on a majority of the matters the group handles.
